Hello Everyone,

As a part of #MSA I would like to share few things about my journey with Microsoft and Microsoft products through this blog.

How has the Microsoft changed our lives? - is certainly one of the easiest questions to answer, because the way Microsoft has impacted our lives is evident in every walk of life. From the day of  introduction of Microsoft "Windows" to the inception of 3G and 4G technologies, Microsoft's developments have impacted our lives in a way that it is next to impossible to imagine this world, without its presence. While Microsoft developments have made life amazingly easier, simpler and anything is just a mouse's click away.

As we all know that computer is just a box without the Operating System, Microsoft introduced an operating environment named Windows on November 20, 1985. Microsoft Windows came to dominate the world’s personal computer market. Now it has been moved to Windows-8.1. It provides an simple and awesome user interface, where even children feel comfortable to use the computer.

The impact of microsoft on education is a classic example of the way our lives have changed by microsoft. Our forefathers never got the opportunity to study in interactive classrooms with 3D images and projectors and they never had an access to the ocean of knowledge, the Internet and various other computer facilities. Microsoft's- MSPowerPoint ,MS Word, MS Paint, MS Excel and the Internet technology has given teaching an altogether different dimension. Education has become computer dominated in this era and it has gone beyond notebooks and blackboards. Computer education has become an integral part of college education all across the globe, as it is the key to make the students competent enough to meet the industry requirements as well, where the Microsoft is helping the students to gain such knowledge by offering courses, boot-camps and workshops apart from academics.

I had been a part of Boot-Camp by Microsoft in our campus for developing Windows-store app with lots of fun. It was purely possible because of Microsoft Visual Studio. I feel it is one among the best IDEs which provides such an awesome user interface and allows developers to develop beautiful apps just by dragging and dropping and less coding. The .Net framework is also an awesome IDE by Microsoft which also contributes to develop the windows forms, web pages etc; in C# and other programming languages. Microsoft's Skydrive-Onedrive, Outlook, Bing Search, Dreamspark are also best.

The best moment was “Hackathon” a 24-hour Appfest, held at 29th September,2013 where we were allowed to develop an app within 24 hours, it was like a day and night match of developing apps and fun with friends and students from other colleges were also allowed to participate and showcase their talents.

I would like to thank Sir Sandeep Alur, Technical Evangelism Manager, Microsoft Corporation (India) Pvt.Ltd and Sir Vinay S, Head of the Department(CS&E), PESITM, Shimoga and all the supporting staff of PESITM and Microsoft to conduct such an wonderful event in our campus and to publish my app in the Windows store. And made me to say proudly that Am an windows-store App Developer.  My app is one among the Top-100 Apps by PESITM, Shimoga.

Being a MSA:
There is need creating wonderful apps which can help the society and to convert the knowledge learnt as theory to practical. Not only the entertainment, social, games, sports, arts, business, music, education apps there is need of some other apps which can contribute to the society and nation. As India is a country of young minds, there is a need of usage of such minds and contribute to the society. I feel that without the problems there can’t be the great ideas which can change the world. Check for the problems first and develop a good solution which doesn’t help to oneself but as a whole to the society. Youth should contribute to the society by conducting boot-camps, workshops and seminars about the  emerging technologies. As a MSA I would like to find solutions for some of the problems and learn lot of new technologies.

Hope to see myself as a part of MSA soon.

Thank you.
